LORD Electric is the leader in Electrical contracting services in Puerto Rico. It has been a constant, trusted electrical contractor that has pioneered and satisfied the needs of clients from commercial, industrial, residential, recreational, business and government markets. LORD Electric provided the complete electrical system of Puerto Rico's first modern office building. It was also instrumental to the establishment of pharmaceutical plants and brought power to the Island's main recreational and sporting facilities. For more than five decades, LORD Electric has also been a reliable partner of the Puerto Rico Power Authority (PREPA).

High Voltage Work
Many of the Puerto Rico's power stations, station switch yards, transmission lines and substations have come to life thanks to LORD Electric. Some of our projects include the Cambalache Generation Station high voltage switch yard, the Escorial and Encantada 115kV substations and others used by private industry. Power Generating Plants
LORD has worked with the Puerto Rico Power Authority on most of the power generation plants. LORD was the principal electrical contractor during the construction of Puerto Rico's first liquefied natural gas cogeneration plant, Ecoelectrica, in Peñuelas. LORD Electric has also brought online several private state-of-the-art co-generation facilities, allowing private sector manufacturers to produce their own electrical power.

Beyond, LORD's extensive experience as a cabling contractor of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, for decades, the Company has provided electrical systems design and engineering services for a variety of projects, among which stand out the Tren Urbano Electrical distribution, design and building of several co-generation facilities for pharmaceutical companies, and the installation of a state of the art high way toll system. Emergency Response
After every mayor hurricane and unexpected accident LORD Electric has been there to work alongside corporations and the government to reestablish electrical service. Our established emergency response plan has been a key asset that enables us to be ready to coordinate efforts in early hours after any event. We have the equipment, the redundancy in communications, the resources, experience and expertise to respond quickly and safely.
